Mt. Carmel is a not-for-profit healthcare facility located on a 79-acre campus. The five-story 188-bed medical center is the focal point of comprehensive medical services for the people of southeast Kansas and the bordering areas in southwest Missouri and northeast Oklahoma. Having recently completed a $16.5 million expansion and renovation, the hospital features a new Emergency and Occupational Health Department, a Regional Heart Center as well as expanded Surgery, Pharmacy, Laboratory and Radiology Departments.

Growing Heart Program Seeks Third Cardiologist
Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center is seeking a board certified or newly eliglble cardiologist. Established and thriving market base exists in primary location with large demand in outlying communities for cardiology care. A new Heart Center was the premier addition of a recently completed $16.5 million renovation and expansion. Limited managed care penetration. Beautiful office suite on campus to support the outpatient practice. Candidates should be excellent clinicians competent in non-invasive/invasive procedures. Office practice includes echo, vascular testing, and pacemaker clinic. Mt. Carmel facilities include a new cardiac cath lab with fully digital technology equipped for coronary and peripheral angiography.

Practice Emergency Medicine in Brand New Facility!
Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center in Pittsburg, Kansas has an exceptional opportunity for a Board Certified or newly Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician. This single physician coverage Emergency Department was part of a recently completed $16.5 million expansion. Offering 4 trauma rooms and 10 regular patient rooms, approximately 19,000 patients are seen annually for mostly medical vists and some blunt trauma. Level I Trauma Center is 20 minute helicopter ride away. This opportunity is an employed position and offers competitive salary and 12, 12 hour shifts monthly.

Growing Comprehensive Cancer Center Seeking Medical Oncologist
Mt. Carmel Regional Cancer Center in Pittsburg, Kansas is seeking a Board Certified or newly Board Eligible Medical Oncologist. Our Comprehensive Cancer Program serves patients in an eleven county Southeast Kansas Region and provides outreach clinics in three neighboring communities.
