Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center is seeking a board certified or newly eliglble cardiologist. Established and thriving market base exists in primary location with large demand in outlying communities for cardiology care. A new Heart Center was the premier addition of a recently completed $16.5 million renovation and expansion. Limited managed care penetration. Beautiful office suite on campus to support the outpatient practice. Candidates should be excellent clinicians competent in non-invasive/invasive procedures. Office practice includes echo, vascular testing, and pacemaker clinic. Mt. Carmel facilities include a new cardiac cath lab with fully digital technology equipped for coronary and peripheral angiography.

This single physician coverage Emergency Department was part of a recently completed $16.5 million expansion. Offering 4 trauma rooms and 10 regular patient rooms, approximately 19,000 patients are seen annually for mostly medical vists and some blunt trauma. Level I Trauma Center is 20 minute helicopter ride away. This opportunity is an employed position and offers competitive salary and 12, 12 hour shifts monthly.
