Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and holds memberships in the American Hospital Association, the Kansas Hospital Association and the Catholic Health Association. In 1999, Mt. Carmel received the American Hospital Association’s prestigious Nova Award for outstanding community service in its sponsorship role with the Family Resource Center. In 2000, the Catholic Health Association recognized the medical center with its highest honor, the CHA Achievement Citation.
